"Anne sighed, dragging her eyes from the witcheries of the spring world, the beckoning day of breeze and blue, and the green things upspringing in the garden."
-Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
This Spring I've been enjoying a new leisurely habit of adventuring out my front porch to capture the resurrection of bulb to bloom around our home. Every day I ramble about at different times to see how the world is growing and how light and water changes an image. Light is such a fascinating study! Every time I look through the lens, I marvel all over again at the magic of light, and especially the way drops of water cling so perfectly to a petal.
May I present to you, our tulips...
dew
twilight
cloudy afternoon
purple twilight
morning sun
I am so captivated by how twilight kisses everything with an ethereal glow - it feels moody and romantic and secret.
snow
golden sunset
Sigh.
Does that make you as happy as it makes me?
I love this world of color and scent and soft.
